How to delete a registered vessel
This explains how to remove the vessel registration from your account.
Craft registration
All vessels using the Shannon Navigation, which includes the Shannon-Erne Waterway and the Erne System, must be registered with Waterways Ireland. Only open undecked boats with an engine of 15 horsepower or less (on the Shannon Navigation) and 10 horsepower or less (on the Erne System), are exempt.
Registration is free. Register below, or contact the Inspectorate to request a paper form. You only need to register once to move freely between the three waterways. Once registered, you’ll need to display your unique registration number on the outside of your vessel.
